As our presence grows, so does our team! In June, we welcomed another digital marketing team member, Ericka Ellis!

Before Ericka came to jWeb, she did local social media marketing for various small businesses such as local coffee, candy, flower bouquets, and art gallery shops. She has also been a background investigator for the government, a public speaker for local child advocacy, and worked in retail.

The Hop Into Marketing From A Corporate Background

“I came from a lot of corporate black-and-white type of careers, and now I am loving the transition into my new creative role.” Ericka talks about her growing love for creative design in marketing and making brands stand out. “I’ve always enjoyed capturing moments, and yes, I am the annoying one that constantly takes pictures during any outing!”

The digital marketing space is exciting and ever-changing. Ericka comes to jWeb looking forward to learning more about analyzing data and photography.

When asked if she had any advice for people wanting to get into digital marketing, Ericka stated, “You never know how much you love this job until you try!”

More About Ericka

Born in Michigan and growing up on 50 acres, Ericka enjoyed riding snowmobiles, dirt bikes, and four-wheelers, camping, and being outdoors. She loves traveling to new places and experiencing new cultures and food. “The top places I’ve traveled to so far are Iceland, Canada, Maui, and Guatemala. I aspire to be a true van-lifer someday and travel the world!”

Ericka loves coffee, working out, reading, hanging out with family, trying new restaurants, and going on adventures to the mountains or ocean with her husband.
