James Comparato is the founder of jWeb Media and a passionate evangelist for its products, services and its clients. He also plays guitar and sings in various groups and has held tenure with a multitude of musical outfits throughout the years. You can currently see him perform with Portrait: The Music of Kansas and the original outfit Dollar Crown. He also collects things that go boom. Lastly, he is good looking.
Amy Comparato is one of the co-founders of jWeb and is likely to be the first person to greet you when you walk through the jWeb doors. She brings 20+ years of business experience to the table and has managed many awarding winning website projects. Amy’s second passion is horses. She loves learning about them, riding them, and blogging about them. If she arrives at a meeting with a piece of hay in her hair, now you know why.
One of the original jWebber’s, Jimmy’s work experience includes back and front-end web development and drinking coffee until his head explodes. Outside of work he can be found jamming on guitar, coaxing fish onto a line or winning money at gaming competitions.
Liz has often been called the organization and detail overachiever. When she is not keeping the jWebbers on track or working client events, she enjoys spending time at home on her little farm with her husband and daughter. She has a fond love of horses and dogs, Chinese Cresteds specifically, and enjoys being able to bring her little 4 legged friends to the office.
Sam came to Jweb with the a strong foundation as a PHP/Web Developer. With an eagerness to learn, he quickly became an expert in all the facets of Digital Media. If he is not at the office, he is more than likely coaching/playing lacrosse, cruising around on his longboard, or plucking a guitar at his home in St. Charles.
Nate is the world’s greatest art director. When he’s not eating tofu or some other weird vegetarian creation, he’s working on his latest, dopest UI design. Nate loves print work too, though. If he gets a couple minutes away from his desk, you can find Nate running on trails or playing with his cats. I’ll tell you what: that Nate Brown is a pretty awesome guy.
Joe has worked in sales for over 20 years and has a large amount of experience in helping businesses with their digital footprint. He consistently keeps his clients happy with his personal approach and loves to help companies succeed. Joe enjoys time at the park, camping and playing with his wonderful wife and awesome daughter. On the weekends, Joe is passionate about music and plays drums in a number of bands around town.
Part data nerd, part creative marketer. Tom is a ten-year veteran of digital marketing focusing on Facebook and Google ads. His favorite book includes Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion and Great Leads. He spends time between St Louis and Lake of the Ozarks with his wife, son and grandson.
Alanna does words good, with over 5 years of content development experience. She has been writing for as long as she can remember, enjoying the science fiction and fantasy genres. When not teaching herself digital art, she can usually be found writing about faraway worlds, saving the world in video games, and working out her green thumb.
A passionate strategist, Marcie lives to find creative ways to reach clients. She recently joined the J Web team as a Digital Marketing Specialist. With over a decade as a professional photographer, she has a keen eye for color, font, and composition. In her off time, she can be found cheering on the St. Louis Blues with her son, playing with her two cats, digging in her garden, and spending time in the sunshine.
With an eagerness to improve in her skills and learn as much as she can about Digital Media, Julia came on to our team with a desire to grow. Born and raised in St. Louis, you will find her cheering on the Blues, taking pictures of all the good food she eats, or jamming to the Zac Brown Band.
After 18 years of working for himself as a PHP/Web Developer, Bill decided it was time for a change. That’s when he came to jWeb to be part of a team and to learn something new. When not at his computer, you can find Bill hanging out with friends, going to see live music around town, or at home playing his guitar.
