This May, the jWeb team welcomed the newest Digital Marketing Strategist, Marcie.

Marcie is no stranger to the digital marketing world. Before coming to jWeb, she handled all the digital marketing for a non-profit in her previous role. She also ran an e-commerce business that sold organic skincare products and relied on influencers and digital marketing to grow the brand. Marcie was also a professional photographer for ten years and relied on the internet and word-of-mouth for her clients.

Marcie’s Passions in Digital Marketing

With her career change from photography to digital marketing, Marcie found her new passion in the work that she took on. “I’m passionate about helping clients create value for their customers by creating Facebook and LinkedIn groups. It builds community around a common interest and is a wonderful way to get people to adopt a product or service by offering them value through education, resources, and a sense of community.”

Marcie also loves the challenge of Facebook ads, and she is currently taking a course to further her knowledge and skills.

When asked what advice she had for those wanting to get into digital marketing, Marcie said, “Invest in quality courses and get your feet wet with real-world experience, even if that means being an intern or helping out a friend or family member with their business.”

With already a month under her belt, Marcie has taken on some of jWeb’s big clients and dove into learning all about their company’s values, branding, and marketing objectives. “It is my goal to take our accounts to their highest potential and help jWeb continue to grow by creating value for our clients through our digital marketing efforts.”

Marcie has quickly adapted to her role and is eager to help in any way she can. When asked what her dream client would be to work with, she responded, “I’d love to do marketing for a garden center and yoga studio. My passion for wellness and mother nature would provide endless creative ideas.”

It is clear that Marcie has a keen eye for all things nature and has already helped us capture great on-site photos to use for our clients. We are excited to see what she brings to our team.

Marcie describes herself as a “hybrid southern and midwestern girl” passionate about helping others, strategizing with clients, and creating visual messaging. In the warmer months, you can find Marcie outside, tending to her garden, walking, and taking photos. But in the winter, you’ll find her hanging out with her son and two cats cheering on the St. Louis Blues!

Although she has only been at jWeb for a month, it is evident that Marcie is a hard worker who values loyalty, honesty, and communication. “With these things, anything is possible,” she told us.
