jWeb Media recently took on two new employees—a content writer and an SEO strategist—to expand their influence in the website design industry. Content writer Helen Wurthmann, a recent graduate of Truman State University, is thrilled to break into the world of professional internet writing. “It’s a great opportunity to write in a fast paced medium that demands new and interesting writing every day,” says Wurthmann. She hopes to use her experience in journal publishing and fiction writing to produce engaging, informative content for clients and customers.
When she’s not working, Helen travels. When she’s not traveling, she reads and writes about traveling. She has explored over a dozen countries and hopes to see another dozen by the time she’s 30. In the meantime, settling down at a full time job is a new adventure all in itself. “I’m excited to commit to a company like jWeb. The community of co-workers and clients is connected by the kind of strong bond that you want to be a part of.”
Mike Kovis’s SEO position at jWeb is a continuation of his long history in SEO management. His SEO skills have evolved with the internet for over ten years. His experience as a private SEO guru-for-hire and a steady working stud at a variety of companies makes him a welcomed addition to the jWeb team. He was drawn to jWeb by the owner, Jim Comparato, whose positive attitude towards the benefits of SEO encouraged him to apply. He hopes to establish jWeb as a sought after search company.
In his free time, Kovis spends time with his 2 ½ year old son and newborn daughter. Kovis is also a self-described “soccer nut,” with a passion for both playing and watching the beautiful game. He is a fan of three professional teams: the Arsenal Gunners in North London, the US Men’s Soccer Team, and the Kansas City soccer team. While he has played soccer on one team or another since high school, Kovis had to briefly sacrifice his passion for a previous SEO position. But with his new 9 to 5 job at jWeb, he hopes to get back in the game as soon as possible.
“Our new duo for Content and SEO Management is a great mix of fresh perspective and great experience,” says Comparato. “Their combined talents are bound to impress our clients as much as they have impressed us.”
